AG Belgian Coast Walk
Every year, more than 15,000 recreational and dedicated walkers head to the Belgian Coast for the AG Belgian Coast Walk. As tradition goes, the walking direction changes annually. This year, the route leads from Knokke-Heist (start location of the 80 km) all the way to De Panne, where all distances finish.

Are you participating?
Walking the entire coastline is quite the challenge — and this year, you’ll end your journey in De Panne! Fun fact: did you know that Belgium’s very first king, Leopold I, also arrived here by the sea? You’ll be walking straight towards his impressive statue. But De Panne has so much more in store…
Let us guide you through our waters. 😉

Adjusted parking arrangements
Please be aware of adjusted parking options and increased traffic levels. Wherever possible, we recommend leaving your car at home. Thanks to staggered start times, visitor numbers are spread out, although peak moments may still be particularly busy. Between 10 am and 12.30 am, this may cause additional disruption. On Sunday 10 May, a second walking day takes place, with around 2,000 extra walkers expected, which may also make the town busier on that day.
Due to the event, fewer parking spaces are available in the town centre. Visitors are advised to park along the Nieuwpoortlaan, between Canadezenplein and Sint‑Idesbald, or in the Prins Albertlaan. Both are located in the green zone. Participants will be directed to the car parks at Dynastielaan, Koningsplein and Groene Biezenlaan.
